I do not really know when or how I first learned about the Expanse. I checked my order history in my mailbox and I bought the first book in 2017, and the corebook for the RPG in 2020. So it has been on my mind for quit some time, and I love it. Space without the space magic from Star Trek (which I also really like). Sci-fi that felt like it could actually happen some day.
So even since I knew there was a tabletop RPG, and more so since I have the book, I wanted to play it.
And a week-and-a-half ago, I actually started my first Expanse campaign!

After finishing the revolving labyrinth, I suffered from what I always suffer from after finishing a big project; way too many ideas for the next big project. The only way to fix that: distract myself with another big project.
This does not sound very constructive, but I have my WDhex tiles. All the tiles together are a massive project, but I can do that in baby-steps. One tile at the time. And I learn something about designing in Blender with every little tile-step I make.
So, to clear my brain from all the insane labyrinth ideas I started working on my WD hex housetiles: sturdy outer walls.

It is done, it is FI-NA-LY done! Well, part 1 is, the construction parts and the very first modular set of tiles to use with it. I am so happy; it took me so long and it was so much work, but I am glad I did it.
I am extremely proud and happy to present:
The WDhex Revolving Labyrinth

Today I have finished the basics of my WDhex Housetiles: the functional doors.
It tooks me months to make these. For some part because of life in general; work was busy at times, I got sick, went to Castlefest, and so on. But most of all it took so long because I had some very specific ideas about my functional doors and how they should function. And I did not make my 3d design life easy on myself.

When Prosp&Beyond announced their Props Print&Paint contest I knew I just had to enter. I never participate in miniature painting contests because I lack a lot of skills (mainly the skill of patience) to paint a mini properly, but props, that makes my cookie crumble!
I can only enter 1 prop, so I had to choose and that was really hard for me given that I really like props, and there are a lot of them from the kickstarter and the tribe.
Fortunately I have awesome players and one of them had a great idea: put a genie in the bottle!
